This fabric, the 270 gr/m2 Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, features a printed design with stripes and lines in artistic purple and cotton white tones. Additionally, periwinkle purple adds a subtle yet elegant contrast to the print. This design symbolizes harmony and balance between precision and movement, making it perfect for sportswear or swimwear. Moreover, purple is a color that brings a sense of tranquility and balance, ideal for activities requiring concentration and focus. This design would pair well with solid tones of black, white, or dark purple.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning the back is plain and unprinted. The fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. Its weight of 270 gr/m2 makes it perfect for garments that require structure and support, as well as for preventing unwanted transparency.
In terms of its applications and uses, this type of fabric is ideal for lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear, swimwear such as swimsuits and bikinis, leotards, and leggings. It would also be suitable for fashion garments like dresses, tops, and skirts. The long durability of the fabric makes it ideal for garments that require resistance to use and washing.
Care instructions for this fabric include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allowing dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and avoiding tumble drying. The use of fabric softeners and abrasive products that could damage or deteriorate the fabrics should be avoided.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is used to print images or designs on polyester fabrics through a process that uses special inks that turn into gas through heat and then adhere to the fabric fibers. The result is a high-quality print, durable and resistant to washing and sun exposure.
