The fabric, named Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2, has a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, giving it an elastic and soft texture. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for sports applications, such as knitted garments, tops, bikinis, and swimsuits, as well as for lingerie and scrunchies. Its timeless season makes it a versatile option at any time of the year.
The printed design of this fabric exhibits a combination of attributes that make it unique and attractive. With an artistic, black and white style, the print features abstract shapes and doodles, giving it a simple complexity and a pictorial appearance. In addition, the design also includes elements drawn on wallpaper, which gives it an original and creative touch. The main colors of the design are mainly 87.42% and 10.06%.
This fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the print is only on one side of the fabric.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, its elasticity, softness to the touch, and chlorine-resistant finish are noteworthy. In addition, it has a very high UPF 50+ protection factor, which provides excellent protection against ultraviolet rays.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it should be added that due to its composition of polyester and elastane, it is ideal for sportswear that requires flexibility and comfort. It is also ideal for making bras/bralettes and lingerie, thanks to its soft and elastic texture.
To maintain the quality of this fabric, it is important to take some care. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and avoid the use of trichloroethylene in the dry cleaning process. Likewise, it is suggested to iron at a cool temperature and avoid using a tumble dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (Polyester). This printing technique allows penetrating colors and precise details to adhere permanently to the fabric, ensuring high quality and durability of the print.
