The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is a luxurious stretch fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, as well as general swimwear. Its timeless season makes it perfect for any time of the year.
The printed design of this fabric features attributes such as being artistic, with standard complexity and abstract, modern, original, and fun styles. The shapes are presented in an abstract style, and the main colors are pastel tones, representing 27.63% and 26.7%.
This design can be combined with other solid colors that complement the pastel tones, such as white, black, gray, and neutral tones in general. These solid colors would highlight the pastel tones of the printed design and allow for harmonious combinations.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning that the print is exclusively on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and elastic texture stands out, making it very comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV Protection Factor (50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear, offering sun protection and extra durability against pool chlorine.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used in general fashion, especially for making swimsuits. Its elasticity and resistance make it perfect for fitted and high-performance garments.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is also advisable to avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning and to iron it at a cold temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality and durable printing. This technique consists of transferring inks through heat to achieve a vibrant and long-lasting print on the fabric.
