The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a woolen cloth with a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for outerwear such as coats, trenches, and jackets. It is also used in making blazers and jackets. In the home, it can be used as coasters in the dining room and dishcloths.
The printed design of this fabric is pictorial and complex in style, with abstract elements, modern art, and geometric shapes. The main colors of the design are 42.33% and 27.12%. These colors can be combined with other solid colors such as black, white, gray, and navy blue.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
General characteristics of the fabric include a soft texture to the touch. The printed design adds complexity and style, giving the fabric a modern and abstract look. Additionally, the design incorporates geometric shapes that add dynamism and movement to the print.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, this fabric can also be used for making formal garments such as skirts and pants. Its composition of polyester, viscose, and elastane gives it a good drape and flexibility, making it suitable for garments that require comfort and movement.
As for care, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Do not use bleach or dry clean. Additionally, it should be ironed at a warm temperature and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This printing process uses heat and pressure to transfer the design from a solid ink to a gaseous state which then adheres to the fibers of the fabric. This allows for high-quality, durable prints with precise details.
