Polyester Lycra Fabric - Cairo is a stretchy and soft fabric, weighing 220 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it great elasticity and adaptability to the body. Its printed design is characterized by being abstract and artistic, with hand-painted circles and dots. The main colors of the design are predominant at 91.62% and 3.17%.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a fabric printed on both sides, but rather the design is on only one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of both the fabric and the printed design, we can highlight its soft and elastic texture, which makes it comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a very high protection factor of 50+.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it is ideal for sportswear for men, women, and children. It is also used in the manufacture of lingerie such as bodysuits and bras, as well as in knitwear and fashion tops. Other uses include the manufacture of scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning can be done, except with trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a cold temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, specifically on polyester. This technique allows colors and design to be permanently impregnated into the fabric, guaranteeing high print quality and great resistance to washing and wear.
