The fabric we are referring to is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga. It is an elastic polyester crepe weighing 180 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. Its composition includes 94% polyester and 6% elastane, which gives it a soft feel and elasticity, making it perfect for form-fitting garments.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by its abstract pictorial style, with blotches in main colors representing 60.8% and 12.34% of the print. Additionally, attributes such as standard complexity, artistic and modern style, and color vibrancy stand out. These main colors can be combined with other solid tones that reinforce the bright colors present in the print, such as light blues, intense pinks, or pure whites.
It is important to note that the printed design is applied to only one side of the fabric using digital textile printing. This means that the reverse side of the fabric will remain unprinted, which should be taken into account when creating any patterns or garments.
Regarding general characteristics, both the fabric and the printed design have a grainy and elastic texture, which gives it a distinctive look and feel. Furthermore, the abstract and colorful design gives it a modern and fun style.
In terms of applications and uses, this type of fabric is ideal for making fashion garments for both women and men. It is perfect for creating dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear in general. Its versatility and elasticity make it a suitable option for different seasons.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is advisable to follow the manufacturers recommendations. These include washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, no bleaching, ironing at a cool temperature, and the possibility of using a tumble dryer at a reduced temperature. Dry cleaning is also permitted, excluding the use of trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique allows for very high color quality and definition in the print, as well as great durability and wash resistance. This ensures that the printed design maintains its vibrancy and sharpness over time.
