The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a thick fabric, weighing 380 gr/m2, composed mainly of polyester (93%), viscose (5%), and elastane (2%). It has a width of 150 cm and requires washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and cannot be tumble dried. It is ideal for various applications such as altars, coats, trench coats, coasters, jackets, vests, blazers, and jackets, as well as dishcloths. As for the printed design, it is characterized by its artistic and modern style, with abstract and geometric shapes, and the use of blurred and two-tone colors. The main colors of the design are predominant and stand out by 58.67% and 13.46% respectively. This design is printed using sublimation technology on polyester, which ensures a crisp and durable print.
The combination of plain colors that could complement this design could be neutral tones such as gray, black, or white, as well as more vibrant tones such as red or blue. These plain colors will highlight the details of the printed design and give versatility to the fabric for use in different garments and decorations.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, allowing for proper visualization and use in the design of garments and decorations.
In terms of general characteristics, both the fabric and the printed design offer a soft texture to the touch. This provides comfort when wearing garments made with this fabric and also gives an elegant look to textile decorations.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can be used for making upholstery, cushions, curtains, and tablecloths. Its strength and durability make it perfect for use in the home, as well as in the fashion industry.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature to avoid damage to the material.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process allows the colors and details of the design to permanently fuse with the fibers of the fabric, thus guaranteeing a durable and high-quality print. This printing method is widely used in the textile industry due to its precision and clarity in the results obtained.
