The fabric in question is a fine, water-repellent fabric known as Storm. It is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its printed design features attributes such as paint, watercolor, modern art, artistic, botanical, hand-drawn, and is inspired by nature, specifically plants and leaves.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that this fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one side.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, it has a waterproof and slightly water-repellent finish. In addition, it has a thin and soft texture to the touch.
Regarding the main colors of the printed design, it can be observed that shades representing 28.23% and 21.93% respectively predominate. These main colors can be easily combined with other plain colors that harmonize with the designs color palette, such as neutral tones or colors similar to those present in the print.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, we can mention that it is used in fashion, for both womens and mens clothing, especially for jackets. It is also used in home textiles, such as shower curtains. In addition, it is used in sportswear such as raincoats and jackets/windbreakers for women, men, and children. Apart from these specific uses, this fabric can also be used in other similar applications according to the designers needs and preferences.
As for fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It cannot be dry-cleaned and should be ironed at a cool temperature. In addition, it is not suitable for tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, specially designed for polyester fabrics. This printing technique allows the design to be transferred onto the fabric in a durable way and with high quality definition and detail.
