The base fabric for this design is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm. This fabric is composed of a 100% polyester technical weave, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its finish is waterproof and water-repellent, making it ideal for fashion garments such as jackets, raincoats, and blousons, as well as for home textile applications like shower curtains. It is also perfect for the winter season due to its water-repellent properties.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of attributes that make it unique. It is characterized by its watercolor style and hand-painted appearance, which gives it a standard complexity. Additionally, geometric elements and vibrant colors stand out, creating a mosaic effect. The main colors of the design are 27.18% and 20.08%. These colors can be combined with other plain colors, such as white, black, navy blue, or grey, to highlight the designs tones and create contrasts.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric and not present on the reverse.
Regarding the general characteristics of both the fabric and the printed design, the fabrics thin and smooth texture stands out, making it soft to the touch. The printed design exhibits high quality in details and sharpness in colors, thanks to the printing technology used.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used to make sports apparel for women, men, and children. Furthermore, its waterproof finish makes it perfect for water-resistant fashion garments.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows for high quality and durability in the printed design. Sublimation involves applying heat and pressure to permanently transfer the design ink to the fabric.
