The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. Its weight of 270 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make this fabric a versatile option for different applications.
The printed design on this fabric features attributes such as abstract stains, pictorial elements, and standard complexity. With an artistic and colorful style, this design is characterized by its abstract shapes and vivid colors. In addition to the main colors provided, this design could be combined with other plain colors that further highlight its vibrant design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, offering possibilities for visual play and the creation of more dynamic designs.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and elastic texture stands out, making it comfortable to wear and adaptable to different types of garments. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection (UPF 50+), making it an ideal choice for swimwear and sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility for making lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and sports leggings is highlighted. Thanks to its elasticity, this fabric adapts well to the body and allows the freedom of movement necessary for sports activities.
As for care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum of 40ºC, avoid the use of bleaches, iron at a cool temperature, and do not use a dryer. In addition, this fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. Following these recommendations will keep it in good condition for longer.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is specifically applied to polyester fabrics. Sublimation consists of converting the dye into a gaseous form and then depositing it into the fibers of the fabric, which guarantees a high-quality and durable print. This printing process allows for detailed and vibrant designs on the fabric.
