The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is a high-quality elastic fabric with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its name refers to the city of Cairo, evoking the artistic and botanical inspiration of its printed design.
The printed design is artistic and two-tone, with floral elements and artistic flowers that give it a touch of nature and elegance. With standard complexity, the print represents a flourish with main colors distributed at 53.8% and 30.38%.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the print is on one side of the fabric and not both. This printing technique guarantees high quality and durability of the design.
The Polyester Lycra - Cairo has remarkable characteristics, such as its soft and elastic texture, which makes it very pleasant to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers very high UV protection of factor 50+. These characteristics make this fabric ideal for sportswear, lingerie, womens and mens fashion, as well as swimwear, both in its bikini and swimsuit versions.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Dry cleaning can be performed, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. Furthermore, tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, specifically indicated for polyester fabrics. This process consists of converting solid ink into a gas through the application of heat and pressure. The gas penetrates the fibers of the fabric and, when cooled, solidifies, thus achieving a high-quality and resistant print.
In summary, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo, with its artistic nature-inspired printed design, is an elastic and resistant fabric, ideal for sportswear, lingerie, and both feminine and masculine fashion. Its two-tone and floral print harmoniously combines with plain colors such as white, black, blue, or green, thus highlighting the beauty of the design printed on one side by digital textile printing.
