The fabric in this description is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for decoration and upholstery applications, such as covering chairs, armchairs, and sofas. It can also be used in fashion garments, such as trousers, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, as well as in accessories like bags and backpacks.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of characteristics that make it visually appealing. With artistic and two-color elements, this design has a floral nature composed of both artistic and conventional flowers. Additionally, a touch of flourish is added to enhance its style. The main colors present in the design are 53.8% and 30.38%, providing a combination of tones that reinforce the fabrics bright visual aspect.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that only one side of the fabric has the printed design, while the other side remains unprinted.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric has a soft texture both to the touch and visually, standing out for its shine. These characteristics are accentuated thanks to the printing technology used, polyester sublimation.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned above, this fabric can be used in cushions for both outdoor and indoor, in the kitchen, bedroom, and living room. It is also suitable for making baskets and other home textiles.
It is important to consider the care of this fabric to maintain its quality and appearance. Bleaching should be avoided, and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It cannot be dry cleaned with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. Likewise, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used, polyester sublimation, is a process by which the design is transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for greater durability and resistance of the design on the fabric, as well as high definition and brightness in the colors.
