The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is a Lycra-type fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric stands out for being soft and elastic to the touch. Its chlorine-resistant finish makes it perfect for swimwear applications, such as bikinis and swimsuits. In addition, it is a recycled fabric and has GRS certification, which makes it a sustainable option.
The printed design of this fabric presents a combination of attributes that make it unique and attractive. With an abstract and artistic style, it is characterized by being colorful, bright, and with abstract shapes. Its main colors are predominant at 70.95% and 8.98% respectively.
This printed design could combine perfectly with solid colors such as black, white, navy blue, or even more vibrant tones such as pink or yellow. This will highlight and make the design stand out in the garment with which it is used.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on the front side of the fabric, providing a high-quality and defined finish.
As for the general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric has a soft and elastic texture to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a very high protection factor of 50+.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from those mentioned above, it can be used for making scrunchies and hair ties, as well as in sportswear and fashion garments, such as swimsuits.
As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, the garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and it is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature. It is not recommended to tumble dry it, as it can affect the elastic properties of the lycra.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process consists of printing the design on specialized transfer paper and transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for a high-quality and durable print on the fabric.
