The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for various applications such as lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, leotards, tights, leggings, and bathing suits. Its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection factor 50+ make it a durable and highly protective fabric for use in water activities and outdoors.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of abstract elements and watercolors that give it an artistic and decorative look. With main colors that reflect a floral style with artistic flowers and leaves, this design offers an aesthetic that evokes nature and the beauty of flora. These main colors can be combined with solid tones such as white, navy blue, and green to enhance the beauty of the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is on one side of the fabric, which is crucial when using it for specific projects or designs.
In terms of general characteristics, the Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it comfortable to wear and easy to manipulate. In addition, its chlorine-resistant finish makes it suitable for use in swimming pools and water activities. Its high UV protection also provides an additional measure of safety against harmful sun rays.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned previously, it can be used in the making of underwear, bodysuits, fashion garments, and decorative items. Its elasticity and resistance allow its use in fitted garments that require a high degree of mobility.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of the process of transferring the design printed on special paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique ensures high print quality and durability, allowing the design to maintain its vibrancy and detail even after multiple washes and uses.
