The Raso - Amsterdam fabric is a 100% polyester satin/raso with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its name reflects its smooth and shiny texture, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look. The printed design of this fabric features various attributes, such as abstract brushstrokes, zebra-like animal print, hand-painted art, standard complexity, abstract style, and watercolor, among others. In addition, abstract shapes and stripes are incorporated to add dynamism to the design. The main colors of this design are 51.16% of a predominant tone and 18.4% of another color. These main colors can harmonize with other plain colors that complement the palette, such as neutral, gold, or blue tones.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric and is not present on the reverse.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, Raso - Amsterdam stands out for its smooth and shiny texture, which gives it a sophisticated look and soft feel. In addition, it is a thin fabric that is light and comfortable in contact with the skin.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility in the field of fashion stands out. It is ideal for making garments such as shirts, blouses, kimonos, skirts, pants, tops, dresses, jumpsuits, pajamas, lingerie, and scarves. It can also be used in the creation of fashion accessories. Its printed design adds a touch of originality and style to each of these garments and accessories.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a warm temperature should be used and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This printing process allows colors and design to be durably integrated into the polyester fibers, resulting in vibrant and high-quality prints. Thanks to this technique, the Raso - Amsterdam fabric can display detailed and colorful designs without them fading over time or detaching with use or washing.
