Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic fabric, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for sportswear and swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits. In addition, thanks to its GRS certification, this fabric is sustainable and made from recycled materials.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of pictorial elements and watercolors, creating an artistic and two-tone style. With plant and leaf motifs, this design conveys a sense of nature and freshness. The main colors of the design are mostly a tone that represents 65.4% of the design and a tone that represents 10.94%.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the design is printed only on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with factor 50+.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied. In addition to being perfect for hair ties and scrunchies, it is especially suitable for swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits. Thanks to its versatility, it can also be used in beach fashion garments.
As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to use a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC. The garment does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cold temperature. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring colors and designs to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique guarantees high print quality and durability in the design.
