The fabric to be described is Velvet Corduroy - Dublin. This fabric has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, which provides significant flexibility and resistance. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is perfect for winter decoration and fashion applications. Its care is limited to washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding the use of bleaches and tumble dryers, and ironing at low temperature. Dry cleaning is not recommended, except for cleaning with products that do not contain trichloroethylene.
Regarding the printed design, it presents a standard complexity with a botanical and decorative style. The floral nature is present with large artistic flowers that give it a distinctive and elegant touch. The main colors of the design are Goose Grey (59.09%), Garnet Brown (15.21%), and Cherry Red (12.18%). These colors can be combined with other plain tones such as dark green, beige, or even navy blue, to create contrasts and harmonies in garments or decorative elements made with this fabric.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on the front of the fabric and not on the back.
Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is characterized by its softness to the touch and its visual shine, which gives it a luxurious and sophisticated look. In addition, its soft texture makes it a very pleasant fabric in contact with the skin.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it is ideal for decorating and upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making fashion garments such as pants, jackets, blazers, and jackets/vests. It can also be used for creating accessories such as bags and backpacks. In the home, this fabric is perfect for making cushions for the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. Regarding the care of this fabric, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC is recommended, avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is done on polyester. This technique consists of converting the design into a gas and then transferring it through heat and pressure to the fabric, ensuring high-quality and durable printing.
