The Riga Stretch Knit Crepe fabric stands out for its composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, which gives it an elastic feel and a great ability to adapt to the body. With a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is ideal for making fashion garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, trousers, cardigans and knitwear in general. This fabric is characterized by having a soft and elastic texture and feel, as well as a slight granulation in its appearance.
The printed design applied to this fabric has attributes such as standard complexity and a combination of artistic, modern and decorative styles. It stands out for its vibrant colors and a theme inspired by marine nature, with details of water, corals, starfish and shells. The main colors of the design are light pink (61.36%) and daisy pink (24%), which gives it a feminine and delicate touch.
This printed design can be combined with other solid colors to create different effects and styles in the garments made. Some options could be to combine it with neutral tones such as white or black, to highlight the main colors of the design, or with complementary tones such as blue or green, to create more striking contrasts.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using the digital textile printing technique. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, which facilitates its handling and confection.
As for the general characteristics of this fabric, both the base and the printed design stand out for their versatility and their ability to adapt to different garments and fashion styles. As for the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid the use of bleach. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It is suggested to iron it at a cool temperature and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This technique allows the colors and design to be permanently transferred onto the fabric, guaranteeing optimal quality and durability. Thanks to this technology, the printed design remains intact even after several washes and uses.
