The Elastic Knit Crepe Fabric - Riga is a crepe made of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, providing a soft and elastic texture to the touch. With a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for making fashion garments for both women and men, including dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, trousers, cardigans, and knitwear. Its season is timeless, making it a versatile option for year-round wear.
The printed design of this fabric features a variety of attributes that make it unique. It is inspired by artistic painting, with a bicolor style and botanical elements, giving it a colorful and drawn appearance. Floral nature is present with pictorial and artistic flowers, as well as plant leaves. The main colors of the design are MistyRose Pink (59.11%), Dark Light Pink (14.33%), and Frog Green (12.08%). These colors can be combined with other plain tones such as white, black, light pink, or aqua green, to highlight or balance the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design is only on one side of the fabric and not on both. The general characteristics of this fabric include its elastic and granular texture to the touch, which makes it comfortable to wear and pleasant against the skin. In addition, its polyester and elastane composition provides durability and resistance to stretching.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is ideal for making blouses, shirts, light jackets, and underwear, thanks to its soft and elastic texture. It can also be used for interior decoration, such as cushions, curtains, and furniture upholstery.
For care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. For drying, it is recommended to use a tumble dryer at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This process consists of transferring the design printed on special paper to the fabric using heat, which guarantees a faithful and durable reproduction of the design on the fabric. This technology allows for intense colors and precise details in the printed design.
