The base fabric, Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, is a technical textile made of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. It features a waterproof finish that makes it water-resistant, making it an ideal material for fashion applications, such as jackets for both men and women. It is also used in home textiles, such as shower curtains, due to its water-repellent capabilities. In the sports sector, this fabric is perfect for raincoats and jackets for women, men, and children. Its primary season for use is winter.
Regarding the printed design, it features an abstract and artistic style, with speckles and spots in predominant colors such as Daisy Pink (76.89%), Reddish Orange (10.06%), and Light Orange (8.79%). These color combinations give the design a striking and eye-catching appearance. Additionally, the shapes present in the print include circles and dots, which add a geometric look to the design.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high color quality and sharp definition of the design elements. It is important to note that this fabric is only printed on one side.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a thin and smooth texture, giving it a soft and pleasant feel against the skin. Furthermore, its waterproof finish makes it water-resistant and offers greater durability.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied. In addition to its use in fashion and home textiles, it can also be used in other areas such as the sports industry. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, it is ideal for garments such as raincoats and jackets that require protection against inclement weather. It can also be used in the manufacturing of shower curtains due to its water resistance.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to bleach it. Additionally, it is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is done using heat and pressure. This technique allows the colors and the printed design to fuse with the fabric fibers, ensuring high quality and durability of the print. It is worth noting that this technology is specifically used on polyester fabrics, as is the case with this fabric.
