The Recycled Lycra Fabric - Seal is a stretchy fabric weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. With a width of 150 cm, this fabric has a soft and elastic texture, making it ideal for garments such as lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, and leggings. Additionally, its chlorine-resistant finish provides durability, and its UV protection factor of 50+ makes it suitable for outdoor use.
The printed design of this fabric combines abstract, floral, and botanical elements, with predominant multicolored hues. With an artistic and modern style, this design adds a striking and unique touch to any garment made with this fabric. To complement this print, solid colors such as black, white, blue, pink, or green can be used to highlight the main tones of the design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is on one side of the fabric and not on both.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric has a soft and elastic feel, making it comfortable to wear. Furthermore, it has high chlorine resistance and is certified as sustainable, being recycled and complying with GRS certification standards. It also features very high UV protection, ensuring skin safety and care.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for making garments such as lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, leotards, and leggings. Its elasticity allows for a perfect fit to the body, and its chlorine resistance makes it suitable for use in swimming pools. Additionally, its UV protection factor adds an extra level of safety for outdoor activities.
As for care, this fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, without bleaching and without dry cleaning. It is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This printing technique ensures high quality and durability of the print, as colors and designs are directly fused into the fabric fibers. This guarantees that the design will not fade or peel over time.
