The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it elasticity and comfort to the touch. Its printed design features attributes such as being pictorial, standard, artistic, botanical, bright, colorful, and tricolor, with floral and abstract motifs. The main colors of the design are 43.23% and 19.84%. This fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
Both the fabric and the printed design have outstanding characteristics. The fabric has an elastic texture that adapts to the body, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. For its part, the printed design is striking and vibrant, with multicolored colors that add brightness to the garment.
The base fabric, with the Nairobi design, has various applications and uses. It is ideal for lingerie and bodysuits, as well as for sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. It is also suitable for fashion garments such as swimwear. Its versatility makes it a timeless fabric that can be used in any season.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is recommended, except with trichloroethylene, and iron at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, specific for polyester. This process allows the design to adhere durably to the fabric, maintaining its quality and vivid colors. Printing is done only on one side of the fabric, ensuring a sharp and defined appearance.
