The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a sweatshirt fabric made entirely of polyester. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, this fabric is ideal for fashion garments such as sweatshirts, tracksuits, and sports accessories. In addition, it can also be used for making toiletry bags and backpacks. Its GRS certification guarantees its sustainability as it is made from recycled materials.
The printed design of this fabric has several attributes. In terms of styles, it stands out for its artistic and botanical appearance, with stylized and large floral drawings and motifs. Nature is present through the representation of leaves, roses, and flowers in general. These elements are expressed through the technique of painting, giving the design visual complexity.
The main colors of the design are 45.5% and 22.32%. These dominant colors are combined with other tones that complement the palette, such as lighter or darker shades of the main colors, neutral tones like black and white, and other colors that highlight the floral elements, such as greens and pinks.
It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side using textile digital printing. This means that the design is present on one side of the fabric, while the other side is plain.
In terms of general characteristics, the brushed fabric offers a soft and warm finish, ideal for winter or autumn/winter garments. Its polyester composition provides resistance and durability, as well as ease of care.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is important to highlight its versatility for making garments for women, men, and children. Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It does not allow ironing, but it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester. This technology allows colors to adhere durably to the fabric, ensuring quality and sharpness in the printed design.
