The fabric is Velvety Corduroy, also known as Dublin. It has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its weight is 280 gr/m2 and it has a width of 150 cm. The fabric has a soft and visually shiny texture.
The printed design on the fabric is abstract and features different elements such as watercolors, stains, and drops. Artistic aspects and drawing styles could also be highlighted. The main colors of the design are 35.28% and 27.86%.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the design is on only one side of the fabric and not on both.
Regarding its general characteristics, velvety corduroy fabric is recognized for its soft touch and shiny appearance. The printed design adds an element of creativity and originality to the fabric.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be used for decorating and upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas. Regarding the necessary care for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to bleach it. In addition, it should not be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a low temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester. This process uses special inks that turn into gas when heated and permanently adhere to the polyester fibers of the fabric. This results in a vibrant and durable design.
