Recycled Lycra fabric - Seal is a type of elastic fabric composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It presents a soft and elastic texture, is chlorine resistant, and has very high UV protection 50+. Its printed design features standard complexity and an artistic and colorful style, with floral elements and plants like leaves. The main colors of the design are Deep Blue, DarkMagenta Purple, and Blush Pink.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the design is only on one side of the fabric; it is not printed on both sides.
Regarding general characteristics, Recycled Lycra fabric - Seal is elastic to the touch and features chlorine-resistant finishes and very high UV protection 50+. The printed design has an artistic and colorful style, with floral elements and plants like leaves.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it can be used for making lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as bikinis, swimsuits, leotards, and tights/leggings. It is also suitable for fashion garments, such as swimwear. Its versatility makes it a suitable option for different seasons, and its GRS certification makes it a sustainable option by using recycled materials.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, should be ironed at a cool temperature, and cannot be tumble-dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This printing technique allows high-quality and durable images to be transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving a vibrant result resistant to washing and the passage of time. This process is especially used in the printing of sports textiles and fashion garments.
