The Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon fabric is a knitted fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which provides elasticity and comfort. With a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is ideal for knitted garments such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters, for both men and women. It can also be used in home textiles, such as dining room napkins. Its ideal season for use is winter.
The printed design of this fabric stands out for its artistic and floral style, with vibrant and striking colors. Abstract flowers, artistic flowers, and leaves are the main motifs of this complex and multi-colored design. This design can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, navy blue, or dark green to highlight the main colors and achieve a sophisticated look.
It is important to mention that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, which means that the design is only on one side of the fabric. The other side is a solid color, without a print.
In terms of general characteristics, the Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon fabric stands out for its softness to the touch and its pleasant texture. It is a versatile and resistant fabric that adapts to the body and allows greater freedom of movement. On the other hand, the printed design adds an artistic and striking touch to the garments made.
In addition to the applications mentioned above, this fabric can also be used for making skirts, jackets, or accessories such as scarves or bags. Its elasticity and resistance make it suitable for different sewing projects.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding the use of bleaches and tumble dryers. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester fabrics. This technique consists of transferring the design printed on paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. As a result, a high-quality and durable print is obtained, which does not fade with washing.
