The Satin - Amsterdam fabric is a satin weave composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its name refers to the city of Amsterdam and its printed design reflects the complexity of modern art, with abstract shapes and vibrant, multicolored hues. This abstract and artistic design adds a touch of elegance and originality to any garment made with this fabric.
The design is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the print is only on one side of the fabric and not on the reverse. This printing technique allows for intense and detailed colors, as well as durability and resistance to washing and daily use.
In terms of general characteristics, the Satin - Amsterdam fabric has a shiny visual texture and a smooth and delicate feel. It is a thin and lightweight fabric that drapes very well, making it perfect for fashion garments such as shirts, blouses, skirts, jumpsuits, trousers, tops, and dresses. It is also used in the manufacture of lingerie, pajamas, and scarves. It is a versatile and timeless fabric, suitable for use in any season.
Regarding the main colors of the printed design, multicolored tones stand out, bringing vitality and joy to any garment made with this fabric. In addition, this fabric combines very well with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, and pale pink, among others, allowing for different combinations and unique styling.
The Satin - Amsterdam fabric requires special care to maintain its quality and appearance. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. When ironing, a warm temperature should be used, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology. This process involves printing the design using special inks on transfer paper and then transferring the design to the fabric using heat and pressure. Sublimation ensures high print quality and long-lasting design, without fading over time or with washes. It is a widely used technology in the textile industry to obtain highly detailed and high-quality prints.
