The fabric in question is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, a type of crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. With a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by its elastic texture and its grainy feel to the touch.
The printed design that adorns this fabric stands out for its complexity and watercolor, floral, artistic, and colorful style. It predominantly features shapes in lines and waves, with natural elements such as abstract flowers, artistic flowers, and plant leaves and flowers. The design is complemented by main colors such as lavender blue (49.58%), cardinal purple (18.06%), and purple jam purple (16.76%). This combination of colors creates a vibrant and striking appearance on the fabric.
In terms of solid color combinations, this fabric could be complemented with colors such as white, black, pastel pink, or mint green, which would highlight the different tones present in the printed design.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, while the other side remains plain and unprinted.
Regarding the general characteristics of both the fabric and the printed design, the elasticity and grainy feel of the fabric stand out, giving it a unique and pleasant texture upon contact with the skin. On the other hand, the printed design features detailed complexity with floral elements and lines, giving it an artistic and attractive look.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those previously mentioned (dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear), its elasticity and texture make it ideal for garments that require movement and comfort, such as leggings, stretch tops, and sportswear.
For care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature. These care instructions will ensure greater durability and preservation of the fabric.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This printing process allows the direct transfer of ink to the polyester fibers, creating a high-quality and durable print. Digital textile printing ensures sharp definition and vibrant colors in the printed design.
