The fabric of this garment is a high-quality polyester lycra, specifically Nairobi lycra, with a weight of 270 gr/m2. This fabric has a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which makes it elastic and resistant. It has a width of 150 cm and its care requires washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by its animal theme, specifically insects such as ladybugs. In addition, it features a modern and colorful art style, which gives it a striking and youthful touch. The main colors include an aqua blue tone at 66.77%, followed by a midnight black at 9.72% and a burnt pink at 8.63%.
This printed design combines perfectly with solid colors such as white, black or shades of blue and pink. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that only the outside of the fabric shows the print, while the inside remains plain.
As for the general characteristics, this fabric has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it comfortable to wear and allows for good mobility. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection (very high UV Protection Factor 50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its use in the manufacture of lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards and sports leggings stands out. Its versatility makes it suitable for both fashion and sports garments, adapting to different styles and seasons.
As for care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used and tumble drying should be avoided.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester. This process allows the colors to be durably fixed to the fabric fibers, guaranteeing a high-quality print that is resistant to washing and the passage of time.
