Recycled Lycra fabric is a stretchy fabric weighing 190 gr/m2, made up of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its name comes from its composition, as it is made with recycled materials, making it a sustainable option. With a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by being soft to the touch and elastic, which makes it comfortable to wear and suitable for garments that require freedom of movement.
The printed design of this fabric is striking and colorful. With attributes such as ARTS, COMPLEXITY, STYLES, NATURE, and OTHERS, it reflects a combination of artistic, floral, and colorful elements. Artistic and pictorial flowers stand out in the design, along with leaves and abstract shapes. The main colors of the design are Night Blue, Golden Yellow, and Cadillac Pink. These colors are complemented by other plain colors such as mint green, pastel pink, and white, which further enhance the vibrancy of the print.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only visible on one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
Recycled Lycra fabric has general characteristics that make it ideal for different applications. Its softness and elasticity make it a perfect choice for garments such as bikinis, swimsuits, hair ties, and scrunchies. In addition, its chlorine resistance and very high UV protection factor (50+) also make it suitable for sports and fashion garments for outdoor use.
Regarding care, it is important to take into account the manufacturers recommendations. It is suggested not to bleach the garment and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a low temperature. Tumble drying is also not recommended.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique allows the colors and details of the design to remain vibrant and durable, even after multiple washes. Sublimation guarantees high-quality printing and precision in image reproduction.
