The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra, known as Nairobi, with a weight of 270 gr/m2. This fabric has a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture. The printed design on this fabric is an abstract cutout motif, with an artistic and botanical style. The presence of floral elements, both abstract and artistic, stands out in predominant shades of DarkSeaGreen, wine red, and rose gold.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that only one side of the fabric is printed, providing a high-quality finish and definition in the design.
In terms of general characteristics, both for the fabric and the printed design, its elasticity and chlorine resistance stand out, making it ideal for lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it a safe option for use in swimwear.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned previously, it can be used in the manufacture of leotards, tights/leggings, and fashion garments such as swimsuits. Its versatility makes it a popular choice for all types of sports and fashion apparel.
For care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is also possible, although the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. For ironing, it is suggested to use a cool temperature and avoid the use of a tumble dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester. This technique allows for high-quality and durable reproduction of the printed design, ensuring that the color and details remain intact over time.
In summary, the Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is an elastic and resistant fabric, impressed with an abstract cutout and botanical elements design. Its applications range from lingerie and sportswear to fashion garments, offering UV protection and specific care requirements. Sublimation printing technology guarantees the quality and durability of the design printed on this fabric.
