The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% POLYESTER, 12% POLYAMIDE, and 3% ELASTANE. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for decorating and upholstering furniture, both indoors and outdoors. It can also be used in the production of fashion garments such as trousers, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, as well as in the creation of accessories like bags and backpacks.
The printed design of this fabric is a pictorial art with a modern and artistic style. It is characterized by being colorful and full of botanical illustrations, with plants and leaves as protagonists. These natural elements give a tropical and fresh touch to the design. In addition, its complexity is standard, making it attractive and eye-catching.
The main colors of the design are multicolored, which allows it to be combined with a wide variety of solid tones. Being such a versatile design, it could be combined with solid colors such as white, black, green, brown, or yellow, among others.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the print is on a single side of the fabric and is not visible on the reverse.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness and visual sheen stand out, making it very pleasant to the touch. As for the printed design, its artistic style and botanical elements give it a unique and lively appearance.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from its use in decoration and furniture upholstery, it can also be used to create cushions, baskets, and other textile elements for the home. In fashion, in addition to trousers, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, it could be adapted for making bomber jackets and vests. Its colors and striking print also make it perfect for accessories like bags and backpacks.
As for care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a low temperature. Furthermore, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique allows for high-resolution detail and long-lasting color fixation on the fabric, guaranteeing a quality design that is resistant to the passage of time.
