The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features attributes such as abstract, watercolor, paint, curves, among others. The main colors of the design are off-white (58.31%), night black (21.02%) and taupe (8.79%). This design can perfectly combine with solid colors such as black, white, gray and navy blue.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the pattern is on only one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has an elastic texture and feel, which makes it comfortable and adaptable. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), which makes it ideal for use in water activities or in the sun.
As for uses and applications, this fabric is perfect for making lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards and leggings. It can also be used for swimwear, such as bathing suits. Thanks to its printed design, it can be used in garments with an artistic or modern style.
It is important to keep in mind some care instructions to maintain the quality of the fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, but should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which allows for durable and high-quality printing. Sublimation consists of the transformation of a solid ink into a gas by means of heat and pressure, impregnating the fibers of the fabric and achieving a crisp and detailed print.
In summary, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi with its abstract and watercolor printed design is ideal for making lingerie, sportswear and swimwear. Its elastic composition and its characteristics such as chlorine resistance and UV protection make it versatile and durable. With proper care, this sublimation-printed fabric will maintain its quality and original design for a long time.
