The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture. Its printed design is characterized by being pictorial and artistic, with a watercolor, botanical, decorative, drawn, and illustration style. Platinum Grey (65.71%), Army Grey (11.29%), and Sandstone Brown (11.02%) colors predominate. The main colors can be combined with other plain colors such as white, black, mint green, or pale pink, to highlight different aspects of the design.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the print is on the front side of the fabric. Digital printing provides precise details and vibrant colors to the design, ensuring lasting quality.
Regarding general characteristics, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is chlorine resistant and offers high UV protection thanks to its UPF Very High 50+ finish. Its texture and elastic feel make it ideal for fitted garments such as lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. It can also be used in swimwear and sportswear for men, women, and children. It is a versatile fabric suitable for any season.
Regarding care, it is important to take into account the washing instructions, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allowing dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. This will ensure the durability and quality of the fabric.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring inks by heat and pressure through paper. This process guarantees the fixation of colors to the fabric, providing a crisp and durable print.
In summary, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi has characteristics and attributes that make it perfect for fitted and sportswear. Its printed design, with a combination of Platinum Grey, Army Grey, and Sandstone Brown colors, offers an artistic and botanical style, ideal for highlighting original designs.
