Recycled Lycra fabric - Seal is a lycra fabric composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. It has a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric stands out for being elastic, which provides a pleasant texture and feel when in contact with the skin. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a very high protection factor of 50+.
The printed design of this fabric has attributes such as being watercolor style, artistic, botanical, and decorative. It is characterized by representing plants and leaves in main tones such as Platinum Grey, Army Grey, and Sandstone Brown.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using the sublimation technique. It is important to mention that the design is printed only on one side of the fabric, not on both.
Regarding the general characteristics, this fabric is ideal for making garments such as lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, tights, leggings, and leotards. Its versatility and elasticity make it suitable for both sportswear and swimwear. In addition, as it is a recycled fabric, it has GRS certification and contributes to sustainability.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the garment and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried and should be ironed at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This technique consists of transferring the ink in gas form to the surface of the fabric, which allows obtaining high-quality and durable designs. Sublimation is especially suitable for fabrics such as lycra, as it allows excellent fixation of colors and patterns.
