The fabric used in this design is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm. This is a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. This fabric features a waterproof and water-repellent finish, and a soft, smooth texture to the touch. Its printed design is characterized by being pictorial, with artistic and decorative watercolor-style elements, drawn and illustrative, mainly focused on plants and leaves.
The main colors of the design are Platinum Gray with 65.71% presence, followed by Army Gray with 11.29% and Sandstone Brown with 11.02%. These colors provide a neutral and sophisticated palette to the design, which can be easily combined with other solid colors such as white, black, olive green, and beige.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric and there is no print on the back.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its water repellency stands out, making it ideal for use in fashion garments such as jackets and raincoats, as well as in the textile industry for making shower curtains. In addition, its lightness and delicacy make it a suitable fabric for use in sportswear for women, men, and children, such as jackets and sports jackets.
As for care, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommendations, which include not bleaching, washing at max. 40ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing at cool temperature, and not tumble drying.
Regarding the printing technology used, it is sublimation (polyester). Sublimation is a process that allows ink to be permanently transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique guarantees a high-quality reproduction of the colors and details of the design, and provides superior durability compared to other printing methods.
