The base fabric is a polyester lycra called Cairo, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its width is 150 cm. This fabric has an elastic and soft texture, which makes it very pleasant to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection of factor 50+.
The printed design of this fabric is abstract, with pictorial stains that give it an artistic touch. Abstract shapes and dark colors predominate in this design. The main colors are camouflage green (53.28%), blood brown (23.86%) and mint cream (11.25%). This design could combine very well with plain colors such as white, black, dark green or brown.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing. This means that the back of the fabric is plain, without any kind of print.
In terms of general characteristics, Cairo fabric offers elasticity, softness and chlorine resistance, which makes it ideal for sportswear, lingerie, tops and bikinis. Regarding care, it is important to take into account the following recommendations: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, it can be dry cleaned (except with trichloroethylene), iron at a cold temperature and do not tumble dry.
