The Velvet Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for decorating and upholstering furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making fashion garments like trousers, jackets, and accessories like bags and backpacks.
The printed design of this fabric features an abstract aesthetic with dark colored spots, such as camouflage green, blood brown, and mint ecru. These main colors give a touch of style and originality to the design. In addition, the design is characterized by its standard complexity and artistic style, with eye-catching abstract forms.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the print is only on one side of the fabric. This creates a unique and distinguishing look.
Regarding general characteristics, the velvet corduroy fabric is soft to the touch and has a shiny texture, giving it an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The printed design adds a touch of originality and style to the fabric, with its abstract and artistic aesthetic.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from those mentioned previously, it can also be used for making overshirts, blazers, jackets, and vests. Additionally, it is ideal for interior decoration, such as cushions, baskets, and other elements for the living room, bedroom, and kitchen.
As for the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology on polyester. This technique allows for high-quality and durable printing, offering vibrant colors and sharp details in the design. Furthermore, this technology ensures that the print adheres permanently to the fabric, resisting wear and washing.
