Glasgow broadcloth fabric is a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition makes it resistant and durable, ideal for outerwear such as coats, trenches, and jackets. It can also be used in the making of blazers and jackets. In addition to its versatility in the fashion industry, this fabric is also suitable for home applications, such as coasters and kitchen towels.
The fabric has a soft texture, providing comfort to the wearer. The printed design that adorns this fabric is characterized by its abstract nature, with brushstrokes and lines that evoke an artistic and modern style. The complexity of the standard design and abstract shapes give it a touch of distortion and creativity. The main colors of the design are still unknown.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It should not be confused with a double-sided printed fabric, as in this case the printing is done only on one side of the fabric.
Regarding its general characteristics, Glasgow broadcloth fabric with a printed design offers a combination of durability and style. Its composition and weight make it ideal for outerwear during the winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons. The printed design adds an artistic and modern touch to garments made with this fabric.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used in interior decoration, such as cushions, curtains, or furniture upholstery. Its versatility allows it to adapt to different design projects.
As for care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a warm temperature. It should not be bleached or dry cleaned, and it is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester. This printing technique allows colors and designs to fuse with the fabric fibers, offering high quality and durability in the print.
