Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel is a tweed fabric made from 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2. It has a fabric width of 150 cm and is suitable for a wide variety of uses in fashion and home textiles.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of artistic and botanical characteristics, with a watercolor style that gives it a decorative and colorful look. The main colors of the design include 62.1% of a predominant tone and 14.86% of another complementary tone. These main colors can combine very well with solid colors such as white, black, light gray, and pale pink.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the back of the fabric does not have the same printed design, which is important to consider when working with this fabric.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a rigid texture and a distinctive feel. It is ideal for making fashion garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, and vests for both women and men. It can also be used in the manufacture of cushions for living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens, as well as for outdoor decoration.
As for care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except for the use of trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is a process in which ink is converted into gas and then printed onto the surface of the fabric. This ensures the durable fixation of the printed design on the fabric and allows for vibrant colors and precise details.
