Our fabric, the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Athens, stands out for being a knit with a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane. With a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is ideal for fashion garments such as jerseys, tops, dresses, and cardigans, as well as for lingerie and pajamas. Additionally, thanks to its softness and elasticity, it offers a pleasant texture and feel when in contact with the skin.
The printed design that adorns this fabric is very versatile and striking. Inspired by modern art, it stands out for its colorful and bright style. The main colors of the design are bold yellow, bell pepper red, and light orange. These colors can be complemented with other solid tones such as white, black, navy blue, or moss green.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing technology. This means that the design is on one side of the fabric, providing a high-quality and defined finish.
In terms of general characteristics, both the fabric and the printed design offer a soft and elastic texture, providing comfort and ease of movement. The combination of the knit fabric and the colorful and bright design creates a unique and striking garment.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from its use in fashion and lingerie, it is also suitable for living room and bedroom blankets, as well as for accessories such as socks, scarves, and shawls. To maintain this fabric in optimal condition, it is important to consider some care instructions. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Likewise, it can be dry cleaned, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. When ironing, it is recommended to use a cool temperature. Furthermore, it is not suitable for tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is carried out on polyester. This process allows the colors and details of the design to be permanently fixed on the fabric, guaranteeing great durability and resistance to washing and use.
