The base fabric of this garment is Punto Jersey de Tacto Algodón - Atenas. It is a knitted fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic touch. With a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for garments such as lingerie, pajamas, sweaters, tops, dresses, cardigans, and knitwear in general. It is also used in the manufacture of blankets for the living room and bedroom, as well as socks, scarves, shawls, and childrens knitwear.
The printed design of this fabric is abstract and features manchas, with a watercolor and artistic touch. Although the design is complex, it presents a simplicity in its essence. The main colors are cotton white, representing 61.11% of the design, daisy pink with 15.28%, and sandstone gray with 8.48%. These colors bring luminosity and softness to the design and can perfectly combine with solid colors such as black, navy blue, pale pink, and beige.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric and not on both.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its composition of polyester, acrylic, and elastane provides a soft, elastic, and pleasant texture to the touch. In addition, it is resistant and durable, which makes it an ideal choice for frequently used garments.
In relation to the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is important to highlight its versatility for making clothing for both men and women. Its elasticity and softness make it ideal for fitted garments such as leggings or t-shirts, as well as for looser garments such as dresses or cardigans.
As for the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and avoid the use of bleaches. In addition, it can be ironed at a cool temperature and allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester. This technique allows for high definition in designs and great durability, ensuring that the printed design remains intact even after multiple washes.
