Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas fabric made from 100% polyester. With a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, this fabric is ideal for decorative uses such as stretchers, paintings, cushions, and also for fashion, such as trousers and accessories. Its printed design is characterized by being pictorial, with an artistic, botanical, and floral style, and features shapes of circles and dots. The main colors of the design are cotton white, whale blue, and burnt pink.
The design of this fabric combines floral elements and leaves, creating an organic and natural appearance. The soft and warm colors, such as white, blue, and pink, evoke a feeling of calm and tranquility. This combination of neutral colors and pastel tones provides versatility when combining with other plain colors, being able to harmonize with shades such as mint green, pale yellow, or light gray.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that only the front side of the fabric features the design, while the reverse remains plain without stamping.
The base fabric of recycled PET canvas is characterized by its rough and rigid feel, which gives it firmness and resistance. Visually, it presents an opaque appearance that contributes to enhancing the stamped design.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned previously, it can be used to upholster sofas, chairs, and armchairs, make wallets, backpacks, hats, and tote bags, and can also be used in the textile/home sector to make table runners, placemats, aprons, cushions, baskets, and stretchers.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can also be dry cleaned with solvents, ironed at a cool temperature, and tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which consists of the transfer of pigmented inks at a molecular level, which guarantees greater durability of the print. This printing technique allows for high precision in details and a wide range of colors, achieving a high-quality finish in the printed design.
