Recycled Lycra fabric is a 190 gr/m2 fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a soft and elastic texture, this fabric offers a pleasant feel against the skin. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of factor 50+, making it an ideal choice for swimwear and sportswear.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of artistic styles, being both abstract and geometric. Its main colors are multicolored, which gives it a vibrant and bright appearance. This design can be combined with other plain colors that harmonize with the multicolor palette, such as white, black, or different shades of blue.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the print is only on one side of the fabric. However, this does not affect the quality or durability of the design.
In terms of general characteristics, Recycled Lycra fabric offers excellent elasticity and resistance, making it perfect for garments that require freedom of movement, such as bikinis, swimsuits, and sportswear. In addition, its softness and chlorine resistance guarantee a high level of comfort and durability.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from those mentioned above, it can be used for making scrunchies and hair ties, as well as fashion garments in general.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It does not allow dry cleaning or ironing at high temperatures. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of transferring the printed design from special paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This guarantees a high-quality and durable reproduction of the print.
In summary, Recycled Lycra fabric with its multicolored printed design and technical characteristics is perfect for swimwear and sportswear. Its high-quality digital textile printing and the sublimation technology used ensure a durable and vibrant result.
