The Recycled Lycra fabric is a 190 gr/m2 lycra with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm and is known for its softness and elasticity to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a factor of 50+.
The printed design of this fabric features an artistic and colorful style, with pictorial elements and shapes of lines and stripes. The main colors are Honey Dew Green (55.84%), Dark Slate Blue (21.8%), and Charcoal Red (14.07%). These colors can be combined with other solid colors such as black, white, and yellow to highlight the different tones present in the design.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is printed on a single side of the fabric and not on both sides. This printing technique allows for greater precision and detail in the design, creating a vibrant and high-quality appearance.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric offers a soft and elastic texture, providing comfort and freedom of movement. Its chlorine-resistant finish ensures greater durability, especially in swimwear or sportswear. In addition, its high UV protection makes it ideal for use in swimwear and sportswear.Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from those previously mentioned such as scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits, it can also be used in other fashion garments for both men and women, such as leggings, tops, and dresses. Its elasticity and resistance make it suitable for garments that require a snug fit and high performance.
As for the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning or tumble drying. In addition, it is advisable to iron it at a low temperature so as not to damage the properties of the fabric.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process allows the transfer of inks at a molecular level, creating a complete integration of the design into the fibers of the fabric. This guarantees greater durability of the print, resistance to washing and fading.
