The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is a high-quality lycra, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design on this fabric is abstract in style with artistic brushstrokes and abstract shapes, giving it a modern and colorful look. The main colors of the design are Ivy Blue, Fox Orange, and Moccasin Ecru. This design can combine very well with solid colors such as white, black, and dusty pink.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design is only on one side of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has an elastic texture and a chlorine-resistant finish. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), which makes it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it is perfect for making lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and sports leggings. It can also be used in fashion garments such as swimwear.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it is recommended not to tumble dry and to iron it at a cool temperature. The fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique ensures that the design is printed durably with vibrant colors, preventing fading over time. It is a high-performance technology that allows for the reproduction of detailed and complex designs.
