The Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric is a type of elastic fabric with a composition of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. With a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for various applications such as lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, tights, and leggings. Additionally, it has GRS certification, which guarantees its sustainability by being made from recycled materials.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of artistic and abstract styles, with circular shapes that give it a modern and colorful touch. The main colors of the design are Pepper Red, Donut Pink, and Worm Pink, which gives it a striking and vibrant appearance. This design can combine well with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or emerald green.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that only the front of the fabric has the print. The back is white.
Regarding general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric has a soft and elastic texture that makes it comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish, making it ideal for swimwear. It also has a very high UV protection factor (50+) that provides good protection against sun rays.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used for making bodysuits, bikinis, leotards, and fashion garments in general. Its elasticity and resistance make it perfect for garments that require a good fit to the body and durability.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding bleaches and dry cleaning. To iron it, a low temperature should be used, and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the printed design on paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process guarantees high quality and durability of the print, without affecting the elastic properties and the finish of the fabric.
