The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a type of sweatshirt fabric made from 100% polyester. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, this fabric is perfect for making sweatshirts, toiletry bags, backpacks, and tracksuits for men, women, and children. In addition, it is a certified fabric with the GRS seal, which guarantees its sustainable and recycled nature.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of abstract elements and stains, inspired by modern and artistic art. With standard complexity, it stands out for its bicolor style and abstract shapes. The main colors of the design are cotton white (78.92%), night black (8.62%), and silver gray (5.28%). These colors create an attractive and versatile visual contrast, allowing the fabric to be combined with other solid colors such as black, white, gray, navy blue, among others.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, and not on both sides. The unprinted side has a brushed finish, which gives it a soft and pleasant texture to the touch.
In terms of general characteristics, the brushed sweatshirt fabric offers a brushed finish that provides greater comfort and warmth. It is a high-quality and durable fabric, ideal for winter and autumn/winter clothing. Its polyester composition guarantees greater wear resistance and easy cleaning.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to making sweatshirts, it can be used for creating toiletry bags, backpacks, and sports tracksuits. Its versatility also allows its use in fashion projects for men, women, and children.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Although it allows dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), it is not suitable for ironing. However, it can be tumble dried at reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This process consists of printing the ink onto transfer paper using an inkjet printer, and then transferring that ink to the fabric using heat and pressure. The result is a high-quality, defined, and durable design that does not fade or flake over time.
