The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by its soft and elastic texture. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers very high UV protection of 50+.
The printed design applied to this fabric presents a variety of characteristics that make it unique. With an artistic and modern style, this print stands out for its vibrant and bright colors. The main shapes of the design are circles and dots, which creates a geometric effect. In addition, the design presents a combination of multicolored colors, which makes it very striking and colorful.
This fabric is printed on one side using the sublimation technique. This means that the design is applied only to one side of the fabric, which gives it a more defined and sharp finish.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and elastic texture makes it ideal for lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards and leggings, as well as for fashion garments such as swimwear. Being chlorine resistant, this fabric is ideal for use in swimming pools, ensuring greater durability.
Regarding care, it is important to note that this fabric should not be bleached and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cold temperature is recommended and it should not be tumble dried.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, specifically designed for polyester fabrics. In this process, the design is printed on special paper and then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This ensures a durable and high-quality print.
