The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for making sportswear, swimwear, and underwear. Its soft and elastic texture guarantees comfort and freedom of movement.
The printed design of this fabric is multicolor, which gives it a vibrant and eye-catching look. The main colors of the design are varied and combine harmoniously to create an attractive visual effect. This fabric can be combined with different plain colors, such as white, black, navy blue, or green, to give an interesting contrast to the garments made.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, which gives it versatility when using it in different sewing projects.
The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi has several notable features. It is chlorine resistant, which makes it suitable for swimwear that will be in contact with this chemical, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, which provides excellent protection against the suns rays. In addition, its finish ensures that the fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, making it ideal for sports and fitted garments.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned previously, it can also be used for making tights, leggings, and leotards. As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a cold temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This process allows the design to be transferred durably and precisely onto the fabric, guaranteeing high print quality and sharp details.
